Classically-trained as a mezzo-soprano, they strongly believe in the importance of using music to share new stories and perspectives, advocating for contemporary and under-performed repertoire while also re-examining the narratives found within the traditional canon.

Sam joins the Philadelphia Symphonic Choir and the Philadelphia Orchestra under the baton of Yannick Nezet-Seguin for a performance in Holst's "The Planets". Performances will take place at Marian Anderson Hall in Philadelphia's Kimmel Center.
