SAM RAUCH is a versatile artist whose musical explorations center on creating meaningfully connective performances. Classically-trained as a mezzo-soprano, they strongly believe in the importance of using music to share new stories and perspectives, advocating for contemporary and under-performed repertoire while also re-examining the narratives found within the traditional canon.

Created in collaboration with soprano Alexis Seminario, I Bear Your Colors is a virtual concert celebrating the unique relationships between queer women through the poetry and prose of beloved queer women literary figures. The performance was filmed at the Historic Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park, NY, and featured the music of American composers and texts by women such as Gertrude Stein, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Emily Dickinson, and Elizabeth Bishop, among others.
